Trip to New York City
June 20 - June 27, 2003
I recently travelled to New York City with my Mum for a week. Despite a rainy first
couple of days, followed by a heat wave (high 90s plus humidity!), we had a jam-packed itinerary
and saw and did lots! Below are links to more pictures.
In addition to seeing the sites of NYC (via walking tours, bus tours, and our own excursions), we also
took in a multitude of live entertainment. We saw four broadway shows (Thoroughly Modern Millie,
Chicago, The Producers, and Hairspray), two ballets (Swan Lake and A Midsummer
Night's Dream), a play (The Perfect Crime), and a concert at Madison Square Gardens (Dixie Chicks)!!
I challenge anyone to try to see and do more than we did in a week - I don't think it is possible!
