Taupo Area and Family Gathering
March 8th, 2009

The day after Ironman some of my relatives came to Taupo and we had a family picnic. Making the trip were Aunt Joan and Uncle Michael, Aunt Margaret and Uncle John, cousin Julia and her husband Chris and their 2 daughters Katie and Sam, cousin Owen and his wife Kim and their 2 sons Rex and Guy, cousin Ruth, and cousin Anne and her husband Bruce. It was great to get such a great turnout and see faces I hadn't seen in over 10 years! Then after the picnic Mike and I went and checked out the Huka Falls just outside of Taupo before going to the Ironman Awards Banquet.
